Meet Dr. Gronbeck
Dr. Christian Gronbeck is a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon and board-certified dermatologist at Beth Israel Lahey Health at Beverly Hospital and Addison Gilbert Hospital. He completed advanced fellowship training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology at Zitelli, Brodland & Lim in Pittsburgh, one of the most highly regarded Mohs surgery fellowships in the country. Dr. Gronbeck completed dermatology residency at the University of Connecticut, where he served as chief resident following internship training through Yale University. His clinical interests include Mohs micrographic surgery, surgical reconstruction, melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer, high-risk skin cancer surveillance, and general medical dermatology. He has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and presented nationally on topics related to Mohs surgery. Dr. Gronbeck is a former Ironman triathlete and NCAA All-American swimmer, and enjoys hiking and exploring the North Shore with his wife when not in the clinic.

Dr. Gronbeck has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications in leading dermatology journals, including The Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, JAMA Dermatology, and Dermatologic Surgery, which have together received nearly 1,000 literature citations. He has also offered numerous oral presentations at national conference meetings and actively serves as a reviewer for several dermatology journals.
